Sassy's dam, Claire, exceeds in width and stature, body capacity, and has a nice capacious udder. I am eager to see Sassy mature and freshen this spring (although I had intended on leaving her dry for 2020). 2019 was a slow going year for Sassy, at least in part due to breaking a leg early on in the year and then developing a joint infection but is healthy and happy now, just a little less mature than her sister. Sassy (and her siblings Chip and Dash) are the offspring from my first successful AI.

Sassy's DHIR milk test numbers look poor (quantity in particular), however she was sick at the time of her last test and milked noticeably less than what she had been doing before she was sick (3/4-1 gallon a day).
